I realize this is jumping the gun, but its never too early to get excited about new music from great bands. Though it took a few listens, I really fell in love with MCS’ last album, and obviously the two before were excellent as well. So you can imagine that I am looking forward to their next release, and first for Columbia Records, My Dinosaur Life. There are no announced formats for this record, but you have to assume at this point that we can expect a CD, vinyl and digital release. Well, at least that is what I am assuming!

Uh huh, you read that right. Talked to Cobraside today and asked if we could get a test pressing to give out if we secure a few more copies of Beggars and they said yes! So, one lucky person will receive this very limited goodie from all the people that pre-order from here! Entries in the drawing are one per Beggars purchased, so if you ever needed to take advantage of friends or buy everyone the same Christmas present, now is the time!

Record is dated for December 15th, test pressing will be ready to give out whenever we get it or when the record comes out, whichever comes first!

Oh. Fuck. Yes. Dethklok, the most brutally retarded, or retardedly brutal (your call), are back with their second full length album of awesome metal face-smashing goodness! I gotta say that while not one of my favorite all-time Adult Swim shows, there are some amazing moments on this show, most of which for me involve Toki. And cod pieces. And food libraries.

Spent today working all over the place. Was able to land a Thrice Beggars test pressing to give out to one lucky person who pre-orders the album through us. Have all but opened an account with a new distro which will greatly increase the titles we can get and carry by at least a couple thousand titles, if not a lot more! Also found out today from Virgil of Suburban Home / Vinyl Collective fame that they have cancelled their planned vinyl release for Maylene and the Sons of Disaster’s III album due to lack of interest from the buying community. Which is a damn dirty shame.
