PO: Alkaline Trio’s This Addicition (Vinyl)

Alkaline Trio – This Addiction (Vinyl)

This went live last week but haven’t had a chance to announce it on the front page. The new album from punk stalwarts, Alkaline Trio, hits stores on February 23rd via Epitaph Records and their own Heart & Skull Records and is supposed to be a classic skate punk album, back to old sound, yada, yada, yada. I don’t give a shit what style of music this album is as long as it is new Alkaline Trio music. 🙂

Sure, a lot of their splendor comes from the older albums but you won’t find anyone over at Nerd Alert Records embarrassed to know the words to all the songs off the past couple albums. Fucking love this band and cannot wait to hear this album. 🙂

Vinyl includes a MP3 download card for the album (this does not include the bonus tracks from the deluxe CD/DVD set though).

New to Nerd Alert & Restocks (12/02/09)

Work hasn’t stopped behind the scenes here, just the posts about what has gone up recently. I am about to catch it up now. Our resident inventory overlord, The Soul Destroyer, has been sick as of late as well as the short Thanksgiving work week slowed things down recently, but he made quite a few pages before retreating back underneath our house that I am going to catch up on now.

PO: Exploited’s Punk’s Not Dead (Red Vinyl)

Exploited, The – Punk’s Not Dead

Drastic Plastic Records has been working on quite a few classic punk vinyl reissues and this is another one to add to the growing reason punkers old and new can’t keep their wallets fat.

Don’t have much info on the release other than this one sentence, but I think it does the trick: “Faithful reproduction of their 1981 debut album, limited to 1000 copies on red vinyl.”

Currently set to come out February 2010.

PO: Agnostic Front’s United Blood EP and Victim of Pain LP reissues!

Agnostic Front – United Blood
Agnostic Front – Victim In Pain (Vinyl)
Agnostic Front – Victim In Pain (CD)

We should have these Bridge Nine Records’ Agnostic Front reissues in-stock sometime next week. These are on three colors each, if I remember correctly, but I have no idea what colors, if any, we’ll be getting ahead of time.

PO: Vandals, Blink 182 reissues (now on picture discs as well!)

We have officially started taking pre-orders for the following Kung Fu Records reissues:

Blink 182 – Buddha
Vandals, The – Peace Thru Vandalism
Vandals, The – When in Rome Do As the Vandals

Due note that Peace Thru Vandalism and Buddha are being reissued in two versions – one regular, one picture disc. Neither album has been pressed on a picture disc before. I also have no idea about rarity on either of these, but you have to think with the slightly higher price that the picture discs are going to be slightly more rare, but we’ll see.

Though they are not live yet, we will be taking pre-orders for the CD versions as well.
